Volleyball Game Preview: The Meadows School Mustangs vs. American Heritage Academy Patriots

The Meadows School is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and American Heritage Academy an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, The Meadows School came up short against Bonanza and fell 3-1.

The Meadows School couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Bonanza a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 30-28, 25-23.

Meanwhile, American Heritage Academy lost 3-0 to Amplus Academy on Monday. Considering the last time the Patriots couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

American Heritage Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-16.

The Meadows School's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for American Heritage Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

The Meadows School skirted past American Heritage Academy 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
