Soccer Recap: West Davidson Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Stokes last Thursday, West Davidson came back down to earth. The Dragons took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheatmore Warriors on Wednesday. The match was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but West Davidson couldn't quite close it out.

West Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-4. As for Wheatmore, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6.

West Davidson has already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Thomasville on the 2nd. As for Wheatmore, they will be playing at home against Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
