Softball Recap: Alleman Comes Up Short

Alleman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 11-7 to the Annawan Braves/Bravettes.

Campbell Humphrey and Sofia Diaz stepped up to the plate in a big way. Humphrey scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Diaz scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Lyla Possin, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Alleman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Alleman will be playing in front of their home fans against Galesburg at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Annawan, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ashton-Franklin Center at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th.
