Softball Recap: Liberty Mountaineers vs. Preston Knights
Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Preston Knights. Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Preston, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Buckhannon-Upshur the next time they take the field. Liberty will host Buckhannon-Upshur at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, while Preston will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
