Volleyball Recap: Mead Raiders vs. Arlington Eagles

Mead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Jersey O'Brien paced Mead's offense, picking up five kills. O'Brien got some help from Hadley Havelka and her nine assists. Riley Koranda controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Among those leading the charge was Corinne Crosland, who had ten digs and six assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Arlington, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Mead has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Winnebago on the 4th. As for Arlington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Bergan Catholic on the 9th.
