Volleyball Game Preview: Clear Creek Golddiggers vs. Belleview Christian Bruins + How To Watch

The Clear Creek Golddiggers will challenge the Belleview Christian Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clear Creek has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 4.

On Monday, Clear Creek didn't have quite enough to beat SkyView Academy and fell 3-2. While the Golddiggers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-13 in the first set.

Clear Creek actually scored more points across those five sets (104-98), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-22, 25-19, 20-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Belleview Christian lost 3-0 to Highland on Friday.

Belleview Christian was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-23, 25-0.

Belleview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Clear Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Clear Creek took their win against Belleview Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golddiggers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
