Basketball Recap: Asher's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Asher entered their tilt with Konawa on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Konawa Tigers 58-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Asher now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Konawa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

The future could be bright for both Asher and Konawa: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Asher will try to hand Calvin their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Konawa will look to extend Wewoka's ten-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
