Baseball Recap: North County Takes a Loss

North County lost against Northwest back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly two runs.

This is the second loss in a row for North County and nudges their season record down to 4-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only two runs. As for Northwest, their record now sits at 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North County will square off against Fredericktown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Black Cats will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northwest, they will challenge Parkway Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
