Volleyball Recap: Winamac Triumphs

Winamac won the last time they faced Attica and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Red Ramblers by a score of 2-0.

Winamac never let Attica on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14.

Brooke Rausch paced Winamac's offense, picking up four kills. Rausch got some help from Abby Keller and her eight assists. Grace Roth and Kylie Fisher kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Winamac's victory bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Attica, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coming up, Winamac will face off against North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Attica, they will be playing at home against South Vermillion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
