Basketball Recap: Tennae Cabral Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gulf

Wiregrass Ranch lost to Gulf back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls came out on top against the Gulf Buccaneers by a score of 42-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulls.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wiregrass Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tennae Cabral, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. Cabral is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Andralee Keim was another key player, going 5 of 10 en route to 11 points and seven boards.

Wiregrass Ranch's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Gulf, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wiregrass Ranch will challenge Berkeley Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf, they will be playing at home against Pasco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gulf is facing Pasco at the right time seeing as Pasco is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
