South Platte came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Arthur County, but Zac Hanna wouldn't allow it. The Wolves secured a 51-46 W over the Blue Knights on Friday thanks in part to Hanna, who posted 27 points and three steals. He has become a key player for Arthur County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 15 points, but 2-9 otherwise.

Despite the defeat, South Platte saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tatum Worley dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Conner Evans was another key player, shooting 42% from the field to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds.

Arthur County moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for South Platte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Arthur County has already played their next game, a 47-42 win against Sandhills Valley on the 10th. As for South Platte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-48 loss against Paxton on the 7th.
