Basketball Recap: Pine Lake Prep Takes a Loss

Pine Lake Prep lost against Bradford Prep back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The match between the Pine Lake Prep Pride and the Bradford Prep Bears didn't end well, with the Pine Lake Prep Pride falling 45-31. The Pride's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Lake Prep lost, don't look at Raegan Blickley. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points.

Bradford Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Brisseaux, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Brisseaux a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Clark, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Pine Lake Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Bradford Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

Pine Lake Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-30 loss against Mountain Island Charter on the 31st. As for Bradford Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 40-19 defeat against Christ the King on the 31st.
