Tishomingo County is 8-1 against Ripley since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tishomingo County Braves will take on the Ripley Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Tishomingo County's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Ripley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Saturday, everything went Tishomingo County's way against Shoals Christian as Tishomingo County made off with an 8-1 victory. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Allyson Christmas spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Ripley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brinson Gay, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Gay a new career-high in hits (two).

Ripley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tishomingo County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
