Basketball Game Preview: Alvirne Broncos vs. Nashua North Titans

The Alvirne Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Nashua North Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alvirne has four straight victories, Nashua North has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Alvirne is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Trinity, who was ranked 15th at the time (Alvirne was ranked 12th). Alvirne came out on top in a nail-biter against Trinity on Friday, sneaking past 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since December 16, 2024.

Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when Nashua North duked it out withNashua South on Friday. Nashua North fell 62-50 to Nashua South.

Alvirne pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Nashua North, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Alvirne couldn't quite finish off Nashua North when the teams last played back in February of 2024 and fell 46-43. Can Alvirne avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
