Softball Recap: Monroe Golden Tornadoes vs. Sumter County Panthers
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Monroe finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 16-1 to the Sumter County Panthers. The Golden Tornadoes have struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Sumter County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
