Basketball Recap: Aberdeen Christian Takes a Loss

Aberdeen Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the North Central Thunder at home by a 49-33 margin. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 38-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Aberdeen Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for North Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Aberdeen Christian and North Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. Aberdeen Christian will face off against Northwestern Area at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday down 114 places (159 vs. 45). Meanwhile, North Central (ranked 92nd) will meet Lyman (ranked 14th) at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
