East Duplin entered their tilt with Jacksonville on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

While East Duplin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-21.

Bennett Holley paced East Duplin's offense, picking up ten kills. Holley got some help from Kinsey Cave and her 20 assists. Zoe Turner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

East Duplin's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jacksonville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

East Duplin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lejeune on the 28th. As for Jacksonville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Dixon on the 27th.
