It's playoff time, and Wimberley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Rockport-Fulton Pirates 9-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for Wimberley, who have now won 18 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Rockport-Fulton from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Addison Laney led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Wimberley, bringing their record up to 22-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five matchups. As for Rockport-Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8-1.

Coming up, Wimberley will face off against London at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Wimberley 0.4, London 0.5) so any goals scored will be well earned. Rockport-Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
