Warren Central skates past Southport with ease

Recap: Warren Central Warriors vs. Southport Cardinals
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Warren Central Warriors walked away with it. They breezed by Southport on the road to the tune of 47-0. Given Warren Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Southport is ranked 183rd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Warren Central can attribute much of their success to Jaylan Mcmoore, who rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Dennison, who threw for 89 yards and three touchdowns.
The victory makes it two in a row for Warren Central and bumps their season record up to 5-6. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 48 points. As for Southport, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Warren Central will head out on the road to face off against Center Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Center Grove will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. Southport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
