Baseball Recap: Howell Central Takes a Loss

Howell Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Troy-Buchanan Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Spartans have suffered since May 15, 2024.

Howell Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Troy-Buchanan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Howell Central will face off against Howell North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Troy-Buchanan, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lee's Summit at 11:00 a.m.
