Baseball Recap: Brinkley Comes Up Short

Brinkley fell victim to Midland and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 21-5 defeat last Thursday.

Brinkley dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Midland, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

Brinkley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midland, they will face off against Heber Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
