Basketball Recap: Shepherd Comes Up Short

Shepherd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 42-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ogemaw Heights Falcons.

Shepherd's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Ogemaw Heights, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shepherd will challenge Beal City at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ogemaw Heights, they will square off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
