Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta lost against New Castle back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Sophie Overholt paced Delta's offense, picking up six kills. Overholt got some help from Kate Manor and her ten assists. Kyra Murry controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Delta's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for New Castle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against New Palestine on the 16th. As for New Castle, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Yorktown on the 17th.
