Basketball Recap: Diller-Odell Find Success

If Exeter-Milligan/Friend wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Diller-Odell, they should've done a better job of containing Myleigh Weers. Everything went the Diller-Odell Griffin's way against the Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats on Monday as the Diller-Odell Griffin made off with a 52-30 win thanks in part to Weers, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Diller-Odell will take on Johnson-Brock in a tournament on Thursday. Johnson-Brock will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Diller-Odell surely won't give up without a fight. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
