Basketball Game Preview: Evansville Blue Devils vs. Jefferson Eagles

The Evansville Blue Devils will head out to take on the Jefferson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evansville will be strutting in after a victory while Jefferson will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Thursday, Evansville was able to grind out a solid win over Whitewater, taking the game 48-36.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against Fort Atkinson on Saturday and fell 65-56. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evansville's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Evansville didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Evansville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
