Volleyball Recap: Temple Christian Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against CHESS Christian, Temple Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over East Dayton Christian. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

In the three sets Temple Christian was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 23-25, 25-11, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Madelyn Brown, who had seven aces and three assists. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Brown wasn't the only good servers: Temple Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Temple Christian picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 7-9. As for East Dayton Christian, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-12.

Coming up, Temple Christian will take on Royalmont Academy Classical Prep at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. East Dayton Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
