Lumberton won the last time they faced West Brunswick and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Trojans. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on four straight.

Lumberton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-18, 25-18, 25-17.

Lumberton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Brunswick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Lumberton will square off against Hoke County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Brunswick, they will challenge South Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
