Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Falls Short of St. Rose in the Playoffs

St. Joseph and St. Rose squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but St. Joseph had to settle for second. They fell 5-0 to the Purple Roses. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for St. Rose, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-13 record.

St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Rose, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Bishop Eustace Prep on the 30th.
