Football Recap: Adair Extends Winning Streak to Four

Adair strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past the Salina Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 37-22. The Warriors pushed the score to 37-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adair to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Moody, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Quinton Payne handled things on the ground, rushing for 101 yards.

Adair was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Adair's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Britton Kerr and Cooper McCord, who racked up four sacks between them. With that strong performance, McCord is now averaging an impressive 104.5 rushing yards per game.

Adair's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Salina, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
