The Tampa Bay Christian Academy Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Cristo Rey Tampa on the road and fell 46-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tampa Bay Christian Academy of the 52-3 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
Cristo Rey Tampa found their leader in underclassman Aliyah Joslin, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was J Dominguez, who scored eight points.
Tampa Bay Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.3 points per game. As for Cristo Rey Tampa, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
Tampa Bay Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cristo Rey Tampa will look to defend their home court on Monday against Oasis Christian at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Oasis Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
