Volleyball Game Preview: Leuzinger Olympians vs. Lawndale Cardinals

The Leuzinger Olympians will challenge the Lawndale Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leuzinger is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Leuzinger came up short against Culver City and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lawndale, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Environmental Charter on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cardinals not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th.

Lawndale walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-18.

Lawndale's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Leuzinger, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1.

Everything went Leuzinger's way against Lawndale in their previous meeting back in March, as Leuzinger made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Olympians repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
