Ravenna strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels 52-8. The Bluejays pushed the score to 44-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rebels had no chance of recovering from.

Ravenna was led to victory by Kobe Chamberlin and Trenton Wedemeyer. Chamberlin rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, while Wedemeyer rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Ravenna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tyce Coufal and Wedemeyer.

Ravenna's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Arcadia/Loup City, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ravenna will head out to challenge South Loup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ravenna will be up against South Loup's rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Arcadia/Loup City, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sandhills Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rebels will be up against the Mavericks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
