San Dieguito Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Liberty Charter 12-1 on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on three straight.
Joie Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

In other pitching news, Lilly Besemer looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Kegan Herceg, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lauryn McGarry, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Fallbrook got the win against San Ysidro on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-4.
Baysia Perez looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Hana Winton was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Kailey Peet was another key player, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run.
San Dieguito Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Fallbrook, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.
