Soccer Game Preview: Westfield vs. Clear Falls

The Westfield Mustangs will square off against the Clear Falls Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Westfield fell victim to Atascocita and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Clear Falls put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand West Brook a 3-0 shutout. Clear Falls' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Philip Moltu and Gerzon Lopez scored all three of Clear Falls' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clear Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1.
