Basketball Recap: Bloomingdale Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Bloomingdale had won five straight games and Aiden Schiedler did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Bloomingdale Blazers put the hurt on the Ignite Athletics Flames with a sharp 72-46 win thanks in part to Schiedler, who posted 16 points in addition to eight assists and eight steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Peyton Schiedler was another key player, putting up 12 points along with five boards and five blocks. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more blocks the last 14 times he's played.

Bloomingdale is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Ignite Athletics, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
