Soccer Recap: Andover Comes Up Short

Andover was the 5-1 winner over Coon Rapids when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 3-1 to the Cardinals on Thursday.

Andover has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7-1 record this season. As for Coon Rapids, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4-1.

Coming up, Andover will square off against St. Paul Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Coon Rapids, they will take on Forest Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coon Rapids will be up against Forest Lake's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.8 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
