Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Muskingum). They never let the Philo Electrics get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. Give West Muskingum's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Philo from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Gray Knowlton led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

West Muskingum's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Philo, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, West Muskingum is taking a road trip to square off against Bishop Rosecrans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Philo, they will challenge Granville Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Philo will be up against Granville Christian Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
