Basketball Game Preview: Coloma Comets vs. South Haven Rams

Coloma and South Haven are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Coloma Comets will challenge the South Haven Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Coloma earned a 60-47 win over Black River. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Comets.

Meanwhile, South Haven put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Galesburg-Augusta to the tune of 71-36. South Haven's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

South Haven's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.4 points. As for Coloma, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coloma was taken down by South Haven 70-41 in their previous matchup back in February. Can Coloma avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
