Football Recap: Beardstown Comes Up Short

Beardstown lost against Unity/Seymour back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers lost 40-19 to the Mustangs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beardstown now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Unity/Seymour, the win was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Beardstown will face off against rival Camp Point Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Unity/Seymour is set to challenge their familiar foe Brown County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
