Baseball Recap: Ramona Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Ramona, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Patriot Warriors 11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since March 10th.

Ramona got a big performance out of Richerd Macias, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits Macias has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Anthony Avina, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ramona kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win got Ramona back to even at 13-13-1. As for Patriot, they dropped their record down to 14-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Ramona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Patriot, they will be playing at home against Mary Star of the Sea at 3:15 p.m. on the 15th.
