Volleyball Recap: St. Genevieve Comes Up Short

St. Genevieve was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Salesian Mustangs. If the Valiants were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 25-15.

St. Genevieve's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Salesian, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Genevieve is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Monica at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Salesian will square off against rival St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
