Baseball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove lost against Central Davidson on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oak Grove saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Messer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Central Davidson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Grove will challenge High Point Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Central Davidson, they will face off against Forsyth Home Educators at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
