Basketball Recap: Greensboro Takes a Loss

Greensboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Johnson Eagles. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2018.

Greensboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Greensboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-58 loss against Marion on the 15th. As for Johnson, they will head out to challenge Thomasville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
