Nick Bravo gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Friday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 4.1 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Wheeler is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-14 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Bravo and Wheeler will head out on the road to challenge Lowell at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils will enter the matchup having just beaten North Newton, so the Bearcats will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
