Basketball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell lost against Allendale back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lowell Red Arrows took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Allendale Falcons. The Red Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lowell's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Allendale, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Lowell and Allendale could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Lowell (ranked 210th) will meet Caledonia (ranked 45th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Allendale will challenge Holland Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 213 places (234 vs. 21).
