Football Recap: Clemente Comes Up Short

Clemente fell victim to Marian Central Catholic and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Hurricanes and fell 46-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 495th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 238th).

Clemente's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Marian Central Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Clemente will head out on the road to square off against Hubbard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Marian Central Catholic, they will welcome Chicago Hope Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Hurricanes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
