Zyi'kiera King commands the offense for Indians win

Recap: Seminole County Indians vs. Bainbridge Bearcats

Even though the Seminole County Indians have not done well against the Bainbridge Bearcats recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Seminole County strolled past Bainbridge with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. The win was nothing new for Seminole County as they're now sitting on three straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seminole County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zyi'kiera King, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Equeasha Daniels, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Bainbridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyra Green, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taliyah Ausgood, who scored three points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Bainbridge struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Seminole County racked up 12 assists.

Seminole County's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bainbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Seminole County will head out on the road to take on Stewart County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bainbridge, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hardaway at 5:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hardaway is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
