Basketball Recap: Jasper Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Jasper had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 53-40 to the Boonville Pioneers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pioneers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Jasper and Boonville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats will challenge rival Evansville Bosse at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Boonville is set to face off against their familiar foe North Posey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
