Baseball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity fell victim to Lake Country Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lake Country Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10-1 record this season.

While Trinity had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
