A Season-Best Effort from Justin Leathers Leads Southridge over North Posey
On Friday, Southridge got the W thanks in part to Justin Leathers playing the best football he has all season. Leathers rushed for 177 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 28 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
The win (which was Southridge's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They and Forest Park are set to duel on Friday.
